***This post was all set up to go live early in the morning. By the time you could read it we were in hospital awaiting the arrival of our second child. Second baby boy arrived on his due date around mid-day.***
Well hello everybody,
Well hello everybody,
Happy new year to you. I hope you had a fantastic holiday season. We kept things quite low key and spent most of it at home. The new year is well and truly on it's way. We are still waiting for baby number 2 to arrive. The due date is today actually. After Christmas I felt like tackling a few crafty projects on my list for the nursery. So I thought I better start blogging about the nursery now that I still have a little time.
For the longest time I didn't have a clue which way I wanted to go for this nursery. When thinking of redoing a space I always like to start with a visual reference or inspirational picture. This is the inspiration for my nursery. I knew it the moment I saw it on Pinterest (of course ;))

This room was redesigned by the interior designer Sherry Hart for her clients the Gassers. Go here to see more of this room. I love the yellow on the ceiling and the use of natural materials here and that is what I'm going for. I'm working with a much smaller room with low ceilings but I'm making it work.
See you next time.
Nelly

Congrats on your baby boy! I hope you are all doing well and I can't wait to see pictures!
