Hello friends,
Last weekend we put up our Chirstmast tree. Our first full size tree ever. Last year we got a mini tree, that was mostly for RJ. We opted to go with a fake tree this time around. I found a great deal on Groupon a week ago that made my day. This year I made all the ornaments myself. Is your house looking like Christmas already?
Last year around this time we where still in reno-mode and our living room looked like this. Still in need of paint after re-plastering. I was not in the mood to put up Christmas decorations.
This year I wanted to make up for it and get it done in time. Just in case baby number 2 wanted to break free early. So this week is all about the Christmas decorations. I have some more work to do but now I'm on a roll people.
Our tree topper is just leaning against some branches up there because the top branch on our faker is not sturdy enough to hold it up. The star is very light weight plastic. But hey who cares I like it anyway.
Here he is mummy little helper. He was doing his thing helping me decorate the tree so I did have to bent all the way down. By the way he was warring this red hat to look like Santa.
Ok that's it for today. Tomorrow I will post a how to on my handmade ornaments.
Have a lovely day and see you back here tomorrow.
